Terms of Service

• You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission.
• Give us accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us right away at hi@involvyn.com if you think someone else has access.
• One person, one account. Please do not share an account or create several to collect free credits more than once.
• You can close your account at any time from Settings. That deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Clarity gives you an application tracker, a resume builder, an ATS check, tools that tailor a resume or draft outreach for a specific job, interview preparation, a health score for your search, and shareable resume links. Some of these use AI models. We describe each feature in the app and on our About page.

Clarity is marked as beta. That means we ship improvements often and occasionally something breaks or changes. We may add, change or retire features. If we retire something you paid for, we will tell you in advance and make it right, usually with a refund or replacement credits.

You own what you put into Clarity: your resumes, applications, notes, files, drafts and anything the AI produces from them. We claim no ownership of any of it.

To run the service we need your permission to store, process, display and transmit that content, for example to render your resume, send it to an AI provider for a tailoring request, or show it to someone you shared a link with. You give us that permission for as long as the content is in your account, and only for the purpose of providing Clarity to you. It ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for your content. Please make sure it is truthful, that you have the right to use it, and that it does not include anything unlawful or anything that belongs to someone else without permission. A resume is a representation to an employer, and Clarity will not help you fabricate experience, credentials or references.

• AI output is a draft. Models can be wrong, generic or confidently off. Read everything before you send it or put your name on it. You are the author of anything you submit to an employer.
• No guarantees. An ATS score, a match percentage or a health score is an estimate from the information available to us. It does not guarantee an interview or an offer, and no feature of Clarity is career, legal or financial advice.
• Providers. AI actions are processed by third-party model providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Running an action means you are okay with that.
• Your own key. If you add your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, you are responsible for that provider’s charges and terms. We store the key encrypted and use it only for your actions.

The tracker is free, with no time limit. You pay only for AI actions, in one of two ways.

• Credits. Every new account receives 25 free credits. You can buy more in packs (currently 100 credits for $10 and 300 credits for $25). Each AI action costs a fixed number of credits, shown in the app before you run it (for example 1 credit for an ATS check, 2 to tailor a resume, 5 for interview prep). Credits never expire. They are tied to your account, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and are forfeited if you delete your account.
• Bring-your-own-key pass. For $5 a month or $39 a year, AI actions run on your own OpenAI or Anthropic key and use no credits. The pass renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings; it stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Refunds. If you bought a credit pack by mistake and have not used any of those credits, email us within 14 days and we will refund it. Partially used packs are not refundable. Pass payments are not refunded for partial periods, except where the law requires it or where we have failed to provide the service. If we ever charge you in error, we will put it right.

Prices and taxes. Prices are in US dollars and may not include sales tax or VAT, which Stripe adds at checkout where required. We can change prices for future purchases; we will not change what you already paid for, and we will give at least 30 days’ notice before a pass renews at a new price.

Payments are handled by Stripe. By paying you also agree to Stripe’s terms. Kooemma Digital Holdings LLC is the merchant that appears on your statement.

You can connect Gmail, Google Calendar and LinkedIn to Clarity. These are optional. When you connect one, you authorize Clarity to use it only for the features you enable, such as reading recruiter emails to update your board, adding interviews to your calendar, or publishing a post you wrote. You can disconnect at any time.

• You must follow each platform’s own terms when you use it through Clarity.
• Anything Clarity sends on your behalf, such as a follow-up email or a LinkedIn post, is sent only after you approve it, and you are responsible for it.
• Platforms change their rules and APIs. If one of them restricts what we can do, that feature may stop working and we are not responsible for the consequences, though we will do our best to warn you.

A shared resume link can be opened by anyone who has it, without signing in. Viewers can read the resume and leave comments. You can set an expiry date and revoke a link at any time, and we show you when it has been viewed. Only share links with people you are comfortable seeing your resume, and remember that a viewer could save or forward it. We are not responsible for what someone does with a resume after you share it.

Clarity is for running your own, genuine job search. Please do not:

• Use it to misrepresent your qualifications, impersonate someone, or deceive an employer.
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages through connected accounts.
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download content from Clarity, or probe or overload our systems.
• Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Resell access to Clarity, or use it to build a competing product with our data.
• Try to get around credit limits, abuse free credits, or interfere with billing.

If an account breaks these rules we may pause or close it. Where it is reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

Clarity itself, including its software, design, templates, scoring methods, name and logo, belongs to Kooemma Digital Holdings LLC. You may use it as these terms allow, and you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute it. Resume templates you fill in become your document; the template design stays ours. Feedback you send us may be used to improve Clarity without any obligation to you.

• By you. Delete your account from Settings whenever you like. Export your data first if you want to keep it.
• By us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud or abuse, or has been inactive with no content for more than 24 months (we will email you before removing an inactive account). We may also stop offering Clarity altogether, in which case we will give at least 60 days’ notice and a way to export your data.

When an account closes, unused credits and the remainder of a pass period are forfeited, except where we closed the account without cause, in which case we will refund them.

We work hard to keep Clarity accurate, available and secure, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

In particular, Clarity does not guarantee interviews, offers, salary outcomes or any result of your job search, and nothing in it is professional advice. Decisions about where to apply, what to say and what to sign are yours.

This clause is here because the law expects it, and because a small company has to limit its exposure to stay in business.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kooemma Digital Holdings LLC and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost income, lost opportunities, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Clarity, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for any claim connected to Clarity is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.

Some places do not allow some of these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the smallest extent the law permits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

If a third party brings a claim against Kooemma Digital Holdings LLC because of your content, your use of a connected account, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, damages and legal fees that result. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and cooperate with you in handling it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live somewhere whose consumer laws give you additional protections that cannot be waived, you keep them.

If something goes wrong, email us first at hi@involvyn.com. Almost every problem can be sorted out in a conversation, and we commit to working with you in good faith for at least 30 days before either side starts formal proceedings.

If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and we each consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. You may also bring a qualifying claim in a small-claims court where you live. Each of us agrees to bring claims only on our own behalf, not as part of a class or representative action.

We may update these terms as Clarity evolves. When we do, we will change the date at the top. For changes that matter to you, such as pricing rules, your rights in your content, or how disputes are handled, we will email you or show a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. If you keep using Clarity after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect and ask us to refund unused credit packs bought in the previous 30 days.

• These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Clarity.
• If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• If we do not enforce a clause right away, we are not giving up the right to enforce it later.
• You may not transfer this agreement to someone else. We may transfer it to a successor that takes over Clarity, with notice to you.
• Notices to you go to the email on your account. Notices to us go to hi@involvyn.com.
